This is it, ladies and gentleman – our last wedding of 2011 season. Kimberly and Jakub were really lucky. Their wedding was only few days after that nasty October snowstorm visited Connecticut. A lot of places still had no electricity so we were all hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Luckily everything turned out great. When we arrived at Jakub’s house, the entire neighborhood was filled with noise of running generators. The trees were down all over the place and the streets were impassable because of downed power lines. We found out that the church has no heat and the venue is running on a generator power as well. None of those hurdles stopped Kimberly and Jakub from enjoying their wedding day to the fullest. They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony followed by a great reception. Kim, Jake, once again, congratulations. We wish you all the happiness there is.
Huge thanks to Monika Rose for photographing this wedding with us.
It’s been a great season, we got to work with a lot of amazing couples and attend plenty of great receptions. We have a short break until our 2012 season starts, but it’s only a break from weddings. We’ll still be working on some other projects in the meantime. Next week we’re attending “Mystic Seminars” photographers conference. We’re hoping to come back with fresh inspiration, great new ideas, and our creative batteries recharged for our next wedding season.
Looks like this is our last blog post for 2011. New Year is only few days away, so we want to wish you Happy New Year, we hope all your wishes will come true.
